The seventh bridge was opened on 18th December 2008. We could have a chance of a survey on island resident's consciousness about effects of bridge construction on their lives in islands. Therefore, this paper investigates life environments and traffic behaviors before opening of a bridge. Obtained main results are summarized as follows: (1) Average travel time in island is 15 minutes per one trip, shorter than in urban area. (2) The number of trips in island is 3.7 in a week and out of island is 1.22.
