Challengers to those businesses such as CAPTAIN (Japanese model of Videotex) or CATVC (Cable Television) have encountered very severe circumstances. However，with the “Internet Revolution"，we have entered a new phase. The Okayama Information Highway is highly regarded as a potentially successful attempt of Local Government to arrange Information Infrastructure and encourage Information Industries.
