The drawings made by Child A were used in assessment by a psychologist to determine the direction and possibility of treatment for the child. The drawings were also effective in allowing the psychologist to provide an oral explanation to the child’s mother about the positive aspects and changes of Child A.\nIn the treatment process, we promoted communication with Child A to establish a social human relationship through direct gestures, so that the child could really feel joy in friendly and stable communications with others. For her mother, we used drawings made by the child to share time to understand the inner aspects of the child, so that her mother could focus on both “words” and non-verbal expressions. We supported her mother by suggesting standpoints of overall development and invisible changes in the child.
