Meals were evaluated favorably, while their prices were conceived to be relatively high. Good taste, reasonable prices, and satisfactory serving quantities were considered important with regard to on-campus lunch. Nutritionally balanced meals priced around ₄₀₀ yens were most demanded. Many of the respondents also demanded that desserts be served at the cafeteria. This indicated that the school cafeteria was not simply for eating but played an important role in the communication among peer students. Hopefully, using the result of the questionnaire, the cafeteria menu will be changed to attract more user attention.\nThe questionnaire also showed that ₆₂% of the respondents did not consider nutrition or health when choosing their lunch, evidently indicating their poor dietary knowledge.
