Daily running distance was 9,022±3,806m at maximum (No. 21) and 1,285±450m at minimum (No. 17), averaging 6,449 ± 2,300m. Final body weight was 368 ± 23g for the control group and 294 ± 37g for the exercise group, with a significant inter-group difference (p< 0.005). 2) Plasma lipid following exercise showed significant inter-group differences (p< 0.10 each) for triglyceride and the LDL cholesterol values but not for total cholesterol value. 3) The running distance showed significant negative correlations (r=-0.796, p<0.01; r=-0.669, p<0.05) with body weight and triglyceride value, but not with total and the LDL cholesterol values.
