Of the data obtained, we examined those of shoulder length, shoulder slope (right and left), and other four items (posterior shoulder width, neck-base birth, stature and weight). A summary of the results obtained is as follows. [Since a comparison between ages did not reveal any significant difference, the four ages will be treated collectively and age will be mentioned only when it is necessary.] 1. The measurement means of shoulder length (right and left) were 14.93 cm and 14.88 cm respectively. There was little difference between right and left. The measurement means of shoulder slope were 23.57° (right) and 24.15° (left). The left was larger than the right. 2. The maximum shoulder length (right) was 17.8cm of 16 years old and the minimum, 12.5cm of 15 and 16 years old. The maximum shoulder length (left) was 18.1 cm of 15 years old the minimum, 12.1 cm of 16 years old. The maximum shoulder slope (right) was 36° of 15 years old and the minimum, 14° of 18 years old. The maximum shoulder slope (left) was 35° of 15 and 16 years old and the minimum, 13° of 18 years old. 3. The distribution of the means was as follows: shoulder length (right), 12.1-18.0 cm and shoulder length (left), 12.1-18.5 cm; shoulder slope (right), 14-36° and shoulder slope (left), 12-35°. 4. The difference between right and left shoulder length (right-left) was distributed between 2.2 and -2.2cm. Right > left was 47.5%, right = left, 9.2% and right< left, 43.3%. The difference between right and left shoulder slope (right-left) was between 7 and - 7°. Right> left was 29.0%, right = left, 22.4% and right
