Early childhood education and childcare in Pistoia city are distinctive for their entrenchment in the local community, promotion of the active participation of the children's parents and guardians, as well as their \"holistic\" approach both in terms of city space and the personnel involved. In addition, they extend the \"inclusiveness\" unique to Italian education into a modern context with respect for individual and cultural diversity.
