This paper introduces improvisational music-making as a way of incorporating children with different needs together to learn from each other's unique qualities. University students who are in the field of education experienced improvisational music-making, then immediately after the experience, they answered a number of survey questions about the experience.  The survey was collected from 34 students. Their responses were analyzed by counting the number of words which were used the most in the survey. As a result, a majority of the students noted that the drumming experience was “fun”, “free” and “expressive” and they were in favor of experiencing it again.
