内容記述 | Children absorb many factors from the surrounding environment through all of their sensory organs. Based on this, we focused on Steiner's educational principles for infants, which promote education of children by preparing good models that are used to protect children from their environment. Children learn various actions and behaviors by mimicking those of adults, and this affects digestion of information and development of organs at a deep conscious level. Childcare workers should prepare an appropriate environment for children based on conditions that promote mental growth/development of individual children. For training of such childcare workers, we provided students with various experiential exercises, such as doll making as handwork practice, visits and practical work at a Steiner kindergarten, and opportunities to communicate with children and their parents in parenting support. As a result, the students deepened their understanding of the importance of environment for child growth and use of handcrafted dolls. | |||||||
