内容記述 | At the City A Rehabilitation Center, have been conducting parent support classes since month X and Y for the purpose of( 1 ) not being isolated in a child-rearing environment, ( 2 ) acquiring knowledge of developmental disabilities, and ( 3 ) acquiring the skillsnecessary for parents to be supporters. In this paper, we asked parents to provide openended answers to the information they would like to know in the parent support class in Grade X. As a result, the responses of the first-time participants showed a positive perception that it was a place to talk with parents in the same situation, but it seemed that they did not grasp what parents wanted to know. With each passing session, it was seen that the information that parents wanted to obtain was looking for more specialized knowledge and the latest information on government initiatives, including welfare support. In addition, the fact that some of the parents who participated in this parent support class registered as "Parent Mentors" established by the B Prefectural Board of Education can be said to have fulfilled the original purpose of parents functioning as supporters. | |||||||
