内容記述 | In this study, we had university students in a tennis class watch videos of professional players playing tennis shots (strokes, volleys, smashes, and serves) to find out what they noticed and what information they received from the videos. I considered whether I should acquire the skills and try to put them into practice to acquire my own skills. The aim was to examine the effectiveness of watching videos of professional players playing by having them answer in a freetext format and analyzing the text. The results suggested that the participants learned a great deal by watching videos of professional players playing. This information included a lot of information other than what the instructor was teaching in class. When teachers teach skills in class, it is common for teachers to narrow down the important points and focus on the parts, so by watching the video, you can get an integrated and comprehensive image of one play. This is considered to be extremely important for skill acquisition. Furthermore, by watching videos of professional players playing, it was suggested that the participants themselves were thinking about plays that they were not actually good at at the moment. In addition, it was found that acquiring information on skill acquisition from videos has the effect of increasing motivation, such as finding content that you would like to practice in the future. |
