内容記述 In order to get some basic information for more realistic education of health promotion, the writer conducted a survey of ninety second-year students at K Women's College about their meals between September 16 to September 23, 1993 ; when they missed a meal or when they ate out, the menues and the food items they took. The method was a questionnare. There are two groups of students. Group A is the students living at home, Group B, the students living away from home. The results are as follows: 1) The students missed breakfast more frequently than lunch or supper. They missed 18.3% of their breafast. Group B missed 42.0% of their breakfast. 2) The average number of the food items they took a day was 24.4. (Group A 25.7, Group B 19.1) The fulfilling rate against the idael30 items turned out 81.3%.(Group A 85.7%, Group B 63.7%) With the days when they had a chance to cook and eat in class counted out, the fulfilling rate became smaller to 77.0% (Group A 81.3%, Group B 58.3%) 3) As for the food groups, the students didin't eat much from the confectionery group, the fruit group or potato kind group. The result indicates that the students are careful not to get fat. On the other hand, a larege number of studends took items from the seasoning and beverage group frequently. Only 10.0% of the students took items from all the six food groups every day. They were all Group A students. 4) As for cooking techniques, aside from stable food such as rice, noodles and bread, the students ate things that require very little cooking technique such as raw food or beverages most frequently. The frequency in their menues of steamed, stewed or fried food was considerably small. 5) According to the servey, the students' eating habits are far from satisfactory, even though they may not be worse than those in big cities. Female college students ought to be more aware of the importance of life-long health promotion, as would-be mothers to the next generation. It is necessary that realistic health education should be more enhanced.
