| 内容記述 | A survey on daily activity hours of junior college women was conducted in order to understand the life habits of junior college female students and improve guidance for living to them. The subjects of this survey were 220 students of Clothing Faculty and of Food Course in Food-Nutrient Faculty of Hiroshima Bunka Women's Junior College who entered the college in 1979. Following knowledge was obtained from the survey on daily activity hours for a week. 1) Generally speaking, non-free hours are long and free hours are short. Especially, students who go to school from their own home spend longer timed for attending school. 2) One third of students does not conduct any learning activity at home during the entire week, and those who conduct such activity are engaged chiefly in home assignments. 3) Few students do domestic chores and approximately 50 percent of those who attend school from their own home does not do any domestic chore on weekdays. While, they spend longer times for taking bath, washing hair and making up. 4) The students use approximately 50 percent of their relatively short free hours for watching television and having contacts with their friends. Hours for reading books are quite short, less than 30 minutes a day. 5) They usually do not go to bed till late at night and have insufficient sleep. 6) From these results, it is concluded that not only guidances for learning but also those for overall living activities are necessary to the students. | |||||||||
