内容記述タイプ Abstract
内容記述 The so-called Muromachi Civclization chiefly produced by common people and amalgamated by nobles, had developed socially and regionally on a large scale in Muromachi Era. We could nominate as representative performing arts at this period, No (Noh), Kyogen (Noh farce), Kado (Floral arts), Sado (a Tea ceremony) and, as literature, Otogi-zoshi (a book of stories for women and children) which were easy to read and entertainable too. In this report, the common women's culture and livings are observed principally through Noh farce which described livings of common people in many cases: The results is as follows. 1. The education for the common women on scholarship could not be considered to have been emphersized, but simple readings, praticing penmanship, mathematics, addition to these, traditional Waka (Japanese poems), Renga (a linked-verse) and Buyo (a Japanese dance) were constructed in family lifie of common people mainly from the point of necessity. At this time, temples were center of eduction because priests had formed an intellectual class in the Era. Therefore, the common women were taught also by nuns at nunneries. 2. As for the humanity, many of them were women of full of vitality and activity comparing with those of warriors. They were wives of strong mind and spirit. They stood on an equal conscious with husbands and supported their households instead of their husbands. As the consequence, they behaved with severe attitude to the wantoness of their husbands. 3. The marriage had fixed by this time a form of Yomeiri-kon generally, that is, brides lived with bridegrooms together at bridegrooms' houses. 4. Though the status of common people can not be remarked to have been high socially and rich economically, it is noticeable that vivid human lives and forceful livings with flesh and blood are able to be observed.
