内容記述タイプ Abstract
内容記述 Since Yoritomo established Bakufu, a feudal government, at Kamakura in the 3rd year of Kenkyu, in the reign of Emperor Gotoba (1192), Bushi, the warrior class, were invited and they, In place of the nobles, assumed the political control of the people. In Kamakura Era, commerce and industry were made remarkable grogress and the common people gained economic power and by and by established their own social status. Thus Kuge began to lose political power and subsquently economic control also and they sustained their life by teaching learning and accomplishments. Above all, they paid much attention to the education of their younger generation. In the middle ages. Kuge considered the girls, education of Heian nobility as their ideal. This is obvious in the textbooks for girls' education in those days. This time, I chiefly studied the following three well-known books : Ubanofumi, Menotososhi and Minokatami. In reference to the women's education In ancient and middle ages Dr. Ken Ishikawa says, "They placed emphasis on how unmarried girls should be. Therefore, they used to teach good manners, adequate mental attitude and various accomplishments and together with them beauty art and facial expressions." All the three books seem to consider the women depicted in the Stories of Genji as their ideal and practical suggestions are described in detail for adequate mental attitude and other things such as Dr. Ishikawa explained. But in the middle ages there were few famous female writers compared with those in Heian period, though there were number of influencial women taking part in the politics.
