| 内容記述 | This study is to examine the effect of the differences of individuals upon the musical feelings. The differences of individuals: one's likes and dislikes upon a music, and, know and don't know a music. Method Subjects, b60 students from Univ. of Music and 60 junior college students were used as Ss. Experimental stimuli (musics). A. Spring Song････Mendelssohn B. Golliwog's Cake Walk･･･Debussy C. Military Polonaise････Chopin D. Moon Light Sonate(3d. )････Beethoven. E. Hungarian Rhapsody Nr . 2････Liszt Feeling scales. When I listen to this music, I feel or want to?????. 1. joyful-sorrowful 2. relieved-anxious 3. pleasant-unpleasant 4. light-heavy 5. cheerful-melancholy 6. warm- cold 7. refreshed- fatigued 8. wishful-hopeless 9. exciting-cal m 10. tense- relax 11. irritating-easy 12. make a noise-be quietly 13. awake-sleepy 14. powerful-weak 15. remember the past think of the future Questions. Do you like this music ? (like - ? - dislike) Do you know this music? (Yes. - No. ) Procedure. The subjects were instructed to listen to the stimulus music, estimate their feelings with each 15 scales ( 7 point rating), and finally, answer two Questions . Results. The data, analyzed by t-test (Table 5.7), produced the following findings. 1) In the case of like-group vs. dislike-group, there were more significant differences at the .05 level in pleasant-feelings. 2) In the case of know-group vs. don’t know-group, on the contrary, there were more significant differences at the .05 level in exciting-tense-feelings. These two results were showed in contrast. Subjects were again classified in new groups. The differences between two means of ratings were analyzed by t-test in order to compare the two groups each other. Results were showed in IV.2. in the text. It was apparant that the musical feelings had little relation to the knowledge of the music, but especially relation to one's likes and dislikes . In addition, subjects who like and don't know the music feel more pleasant than others. | |||||||||
