| 内容記述 | Some information about the summer, ready-made dresses for girls was. reported in the 1st and the 2nd reports, which could be considerably used for reference. This time we will discuss a girl's stock of clothes and the types they like. The purposes of this thesis include to investigate how many summer, ready-made dresses a girl has, how long they are used, in what period of the year they are mostly bought, and of 250 girls who have 1,516 dresses altogether, what silhouettes of the body, collar-forms and sleeve-forms are liked. Besides, we want to know what types mothers and daughters like most. Thus we were able to know wearability and utility of girls' summer, ready-made dresses. The investigation was made at the same time and of the same subjects when the color of the summer, ready-made dresses for girls was made, which was reported as the 2nd report in the Bulletin, Hiroshima Bunka Women's Junior College. The summary of this report is as follows: 1. The average number of summer, one-piece, ready-made dresses for a girl is 6.1, while that of a house-wife is 4.6. 2. Girls dresses that are three years old are seldom worn; and four years old never. Therefore, three years is the longest wearable period for such dresses. 3. Girls' summer, ready-made dresses are bought in June and July, especially in the former month. 4. The power of expression of types develops about the same age as that of color does. 5. Most girls like sheath-type body silhouette, nearly the same as mothers do; in fact, this type of dresses were most often seen on the streets. As to the sleeve-type, girls and mothers alike preferred puff-sleeves. In the wardrobes they had more sleeveless dresses; this was not commensulate with what they said they preferred. As to the collar-type, most women preferred no collar and most of the stocks had no collar. The above is what was made clear by the recent investigation. The investigation as to color proved that there were much discrepancies between the preferences of girls and mothers, but as to the type, there was little difference, and many liked the same type. The ideal situation is that both like the same thing. Judging from the above fact, I presumed, the summer, ready-made dresses for girls will sell better and better. | |||||||||
