国際看護学の講座や授業科目をもつ大学が増え,学生の意識も高揚しているが,地方の病院に勤務する看護職にとって,「国際看護学」,「国際協力」は日常の業務の中で,ほとんどかかわることのない現象である。そこで,呉,広島地域の病院に勤務する看護職の「国際看護学」に対する関心度を知る目的で意識調査をした。その結果,同地域の看護職全体から見れば,「国際看護学」への関心度はそれほど高いとは言えないが,将来,4年制の看護系大学への編入学を希望している者や,積極的に生涯教育を受けている看護職は,「国際看護学」への関心が強く,国際看護学を構成する授業科目を受講したいと考えていることがわかった。また,「国際看護学」を看護系大学の中で確立するためには,「国際看護学」の内容や看護学の中での位置づけなどを臨床の看護職,とりわけ,日常の業務の中で国際化を意識する機会の少ない地方の看護職に対して,積極的にアピールすることが今後の課題であると確認した。（英文抄録 : Growing number of universities are providing classes or courses for International Nursing, and college students are eager to take these classes. For nurses who work a local hospital, however, the subjects such as "International nursing", "International Cooperation" seem hardly not related to their daily practiced of clinical nursing. In these circumstances, a survey was done to find out degree of interest toward "International Nursing" among registered nurses who work in hospitals in Hiroshima and Kure area. As a result of this survey, even though there was not such a high interest in "International Nursing" in general; it was found that for those who are willing to return school to pursue bachelor degree, or who are willing to participate in continuing educations, interest to "International Nursing" is high, and they are eager to take classes which consists "International Nursing". For establishment of "International Nursing" as a solid realm of nursing, it is important to advocate International Nursing to clinical nurses, especially those who do not have much opportunities to be consciously aware of internationalization in daily practice in a hospital in local area.） |
