| 内容記述 | With the cooperation of the survey team and the Board of Education in Shimonoseki City，an investigation was done into how the citizens enjoy sports，what their consciousness of sports is and what they really need or what sports activities they want. This was done in order to get some hints for long-term promotion measures of a sports movement in a middle-sized city like Shimonoseki. The results of the survey shows that the citizens do not have enough information nor easy access to sports. Now they need more satisfactory facilities for community sports，not so much those for competitive sports as ever. “Every" citizen can enjoy sports “freely"and “easily"whenever he or she likes. To realize this，the administrative branch has to work as a coordinator and do its best to build a network and supply and equip more desireable sports facilities. All the administrative side can do is to support the citizens'sports activities. Sport itself should not be compelled but be done spontaneously and autonomously. the citizens' conciousness of sport has changed. They now take sports as a culture in their daily lives. For a long-term master plan of sports facilities，I propose the supply and maintenance of parks，school facilities，facilities for training and exercise in hour areas the city，and a large general facilities zone for sports and recreation with accommodation. | |||||||||
