内容記述 | This study aimed to clarify the process by which individuals relate the characteristics of music,such as the emotional feeling, to its cultural background while interacting with other learners in a junior high-school music appreciation class using the local song “Mibu no Hanadaue” as teaching material. The analysis of the practical lessons revealed that learners relate the two ideas by expressing and describing the characteristics of music that they perceive and feel and by consciously thinking about the thoughts and wishes of the person playing the music. By reflecting on this learning process and describing and becoming aware of the thinking that underlies this connection,learners become able to apply that thinking to other musical characteristics as well and to express these lessons in critical writing. Furthermore, learning to associate the characteristics of music with cultural aspects allows students to discover conclusions and find new values in music. These learning processes involve individual worksheets as well as shared worksheets that allow students to visualize their thoughts and share them with the group and group activities that allow the students and their teachers to interact and learn collaboratively. Learning tools and an interactive learning environment are required. |
