本研究では、理解深化モデルを適用した小学校2 年生のリズム遊びの授業は、「リズムにのってへそを弾ませて踊ること」の理解深化を促進したかについて検討した。実践では、相互模倣活動（ミラーごっこ）の理解深化を促進する要因を明らかにするため、導入の活動での児童の没入度の様子（高群・低群）とパフォーマンス評価との関連を分析した。その結果、両群とも授業を通して、パフォーマンスは向上した。しかし、両群は単元開始時より、すでに獲得している動きのレパートリーの差によって、理解深化の過程が異なっていた。この結果から、教師の模倣やミラーごっこを通して、動きのレパートリーの獲得を保障していくことがその後の理解の深まりにつながることが示唆された。また、児童の振り返りシートの記述からは、ミラーごっこによる相互観察でよい動きに気づくことは可能であるが、自ら省察し、自己の動きの改善や創造につなげていくことは困難であることが明らかになった。児童が他者の動きを評価するだけにとどまらず自己省察を促すため、教師の支援方法の検討が必要である。
This study examined whether rhythm play classes for second-grade elementary school children, based on a deepening pupil-learning model, deepened their learning of “dancing to the rhythm while bouncing the navel.” In practice, we analyzed an association between levels of pupil engagement in the introduction activity (a high level and a low level group) and performance evaluation to identify factors that would promote deepening pupil learning of mutual imitation activity (mirror play). The results showed an improved performance through classes in both groups. However, the process by which pupils deepened their understanding differed due to the gap in movement repertoires that the pupils had already acquired before the start of the modules. The results suggest that through imitating a teacher or playing with a mirror, ensuring acquisition of movement repertoires for pupils would lead to deeper understanding. Furthermore, analysis of descriptions in pupils’ worksheets revealed that, although pupils understood good movements through mutual observation with mirror play, they had difficulties in improving and creating their own movements through self-reflection. Further studies are needed to explore how teachers can support pupils in promoting pupils’ self-reflection as well as in pupils’ evaluation of other pupils’ movements. |
