| 内容記述 | One of the biggest problems on our enviornment and health is what to do with large amounts of household waste. Separeted collection of the waste began in 1976 in Hiroshima, in order to reduce the amounts of the waste, but still the waste mountains continue to grow. The waste managements in Michigan have been examined by comparing with those of Hiroshima to obtain some useful informations as follows. 1) It's important to get knowledge on the state of the waste in deteil and common. For this purpose, campus and public programs regarding the waste will be necessary. 2) Using recycled products reduces the waste, and also conserves natural resources and energy. In addition, purchasing recycled products promotes the continued manufacture of the products and helps strengthen markets for collected materials. 3) A system needs to be build up to see who has the responsibility under the laws. Then, the cost of dealing with the waste will be economy in consumption. 4) Since the waste problem is attributed to the mass-comsumption on our life, simple life is the best for this difficult problem. | |||||||||
