| 内容記述 | This paper explores a new perspective of media understanding through critical examining M.McLuhan's theory of TV. His TV theory consists of two dimensions.One is a comparative media theory,i.e.the medium is "the message". And the other is the studies of personal and social effects of TV,i.e. the medium is "the message". McLuhan offers a possibility of understanding that there are specific characteristics of TV(the TV image was a low definition) and personal,social effects of TV(tactile)by focusing on the differences between speech,print,radio,TV and so on. |
