| 内容記述 | Attempts by the Japanese Government or Local Governments to introduce “New Media” have repeatedly resulted in failure. Challengers to those businesses such as CAPTAIN (Japanese model of Videotex) or CATVC (Cable Television) have encountered very severe circumstances. However，with the “Internet Revolution"，we have entered a new phase. The Okayama Information Highway is highly regarded as a potentially successful attempt of Local Government to arrange Information Infrastructure and encourage Information Industries. Here, I study the history and the feature of the Okayama Information Highway. comparing it with Gifu and Kochi，both regarded as Advanced Prefectures in Information-Communication Policies. whereas Hiroshima is behind these prefectures. | |||||||||
