内容記述 | The purpose of this research is to examine possible methods of effective instruction (learning tasks) for children with physical disabilities, so that we can implement practices to promote physical activity, cognitive development, and acquisition of appropriate communication, with the eventual goal of walking on their own, and can consider better teaching methods in the future. A study for children with both physical disabilities and intellectual disabilities who use wheelchairs was conducted on walking and gait.“ Learning about walking” here is defined as learning that consciously incorporates learning tasks that may lead to independent walking in all learning situations except for instruction during independent activity time, with the goal of achieving the end goal throughout the entire school life. Thanks to these instructions, a child who had been told by medical staff that he could not walk acquired the ability to maintain standing, and eventually was able to walk on his own without nursing care for a few meters, but in a stable way. Considering the results of this study, we discussed how we can set appropriate learning tasks for children with physical disabilities based on their actual conditions in order to bring out tangible, specific results (instructional goals)in the teaching of children with physical disabilities. | |||||||||||
